Sunday morning recap
I think my two favorite services ever were the first service and second service last week. What an incredible day of worship and celebration! Everyone was pumped and the worship team did a stellar job of leading us to God. I hope that you are as excited about the generous life campaign as I am. I can't stop thinking about it. Not only is God showing up to provide a permanent worship space for us, but along the way, we are going to help the poor. Does it get any better than that? I think not! We are going to be able to look back and see how amazingly our God showed up and provided for His people.
What a future!
What a church!
What a God!
Mike - I think that the Generous Life Campaign is an awesome idea! It's bold. It sounds like God. I can't wait to see what we all get to do together with him!

What was that line from Field of Dreams? "If you build it they will come." I think we can turn that on its head in the Generous Life campaign: "If we follow, he will build it." What an awesome way to serve, honor and glorify our awesome God!

"If we follow, He will build it."
(In case anyone caught my typo!)

Such a great way to show God's glory. I told my sister about the Generous Life Campaign and she thought it was incredible! She knows that how a church serves the kingdom and the spirit can easily be seen in how it is a steward of it's finance as an example to it's congregation and other chuches. I have left churches where it got greedy and political and all about building the "Buckingham Palace" of church buildings and this idea that God planted in you for this way of "serving and giving in order to save up" is such a wonderful spiritually humble act. Such a blessing!! Mike, thank you for listening to Him and not being afraid to follow in the path He has set before Grace.
